I like listing out my favorites that are foremost on the brain, especially on a F*R*I*D*A*Y
1) Air conditioning. This needs no explanation.
2) Friday night ritual of friends gathering at the same place, around the same time, wherein we laugh, discuss, enjoy, breathe, exhale, forgive, learn, write, observe, and sing.
3) Wine. It's so sophisticated.
4) Yoga. Nature's prozac. Stretching and expanding muscles, to get one ready for the weekend. I'm always left with the thought, is there yoga for the brain available?
5) Haircuts. Where did that 5 inches go?! OH MY. But. I love them. Especially with fresh, sunkissed highlights.
6) Happy coworkers. You'll find them on Fridays.
7) Unexpected phone calls from old friends. I pay homage to these.
8) Handwritten letters or cards. They DO still exist, yay!
9) Football season right around the corner.
10) New cell phones. Of the Droid variety. Hello new technology, nice to meet you. Hold me.

1. Julia on my lap for 10 minutes before work as we watched Mickey Mouse.
2. Julia sleeping in her bed all night for the 4th night in a row.
3. Watching Jenna gracefully dive into the pool, a feat I've never accomplished.
4. Watching Jared swim lap after lap, down the length of the pool and back, again and again, using all different types of swimming strokes; after each one asking his teacher, "What's next?"

1. Waking up with Chandra by my side. Not just Friday, but everyday.
2. Friday morning storms. Love them!
3. Eating Andy's ice cream for lunch, just because I can.
4. Agree...air conditoning, even though I don't have it at work.
5. Knowing for the next two mornings, I get to sleep in.
6. Friday night grocery shopping. I know, but I like it.
7. fOne week closer to our vacation, where Chandra and I will be alone for the first time in ages.
8. It's close to fall, which means the Cheifs are still in the hunt for hte playoffs.
9. College basketball season is comming!
10. Nothing planned for the weekend other than some work around the house.
